Steel Shapes does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Ever.
[steel shapes] ("the App") is a reference tool for AISC structural steel shape data. Your privacy is important to us. This policy describes what data the App accesses, and what it does with it — which is nothing beyond your own device.
The App works entirely offline. No account is required. No internet connection is needed to use any feature.
We do not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults system:
This data never leaves your device. It is used solely to restore your preferences the next time you open the App.
The App includes a read-only copy of the AISC Structural Steel Shapes Database bundled within the App itself. This database is accessed locally and no queries, searches, or selections are transmitted anywhere.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking services. No third-party code in the App accesses or transmits any data.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else. Since no data is collected at all, the App is suitable for users of all ages.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Given that the App collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
